Dr Muhammad Sameer Kasker

Muhammad Sameer Kasker completed his LLB, LLM and LLD degrees at the University of the Western Cape.

His research interests include environmental law as well as academic development. He completed his LLM dissertation in International Environmental Law, specifically global environmental governance. He completed his LLD thesis in International Environmental Law, focussing on international water law, sustainable development and the management of water. His academic career began in 2013 tutoring English for Educational Development in Law. As the years went on, he began to lecture Environmental and Sustainability Studies (2017 – 2018) and Legal Systems (2019) for first year students as well as Public International Law (2020 – 2022) and the Environmental Law (2020 – 2022) elective module for undergraduate LLB students. He is currently lecturing Introduction to Law for first year LLB students.
