LLM in Corporate Law
Corporate Law Specialisation
The Department of Mercantile and Labour Law in the Faculty of Law has responded to market developments and student needs by increasing its Corporate Law offerings to a full area of specialisation. Various stakeholders such as commercial law practitioners looking for corporate law specialisation, regulators and UWC students and others from various parts of Africa and the world aspiring to pursue postgraduate studies in corporate law, have been yearning for a time when UWC will provide more in the area of Corporate Law. The Faculty has now responded! The LLM in Corporate Law, an exciting, rich and brand new LLM program consisting of four modules covering a wide range of issues from corporate governance, corporate finance, corporate insolvency to fundamental transactions topical issues, commenced in 2023 with the first three of the modules listed below.
