Description
The Bill contains provisions to regulate the licensing of "electronic hailing services" (clauses 1(c), 40 and 41). After being passed by the National Council of Provinces on 28 March 2019, it was returned to the National Assembly where it lapsed and was revived on 29 October 2019. It is still under consideration by the National Assembly.
