Bio in brief
eun Jaspers was professor of social law from 1987 to 2008 and as
so attached to the IER department (Utrecht University). Since October 2008 he is professor emeritus of employment law at the Europa Institute. Until that date he was a board member of the institute.
Since 2014 he has been affiliated with the Hugo Sinzheimer Institute of the University of Amsterdam as a senior research fellow. He is co-founder of the European Working Group of Labor Law, a collaboration of a number of European Labor Law professors from different Member States that develops activities in the field of education and research. Within the framework of the European Working Group of Labor Law and in collaboration with the Institut du Travail in Strasbourg, he participated in a major research project (of the European Commission) evaluating the Posting of workers directive. It is a multidisciplinary project.
